Founded in 2005, Irgun Uvneh has been rehabilitate families and youth in distress, by addressing the root of the problem and thereby preventing the second generation on poverty.

The organization provides help in various aspects: financial help, food vouchers, food baskets, dental treatment, advisors and helpline, support for ladies in distress, dealing with problem children and troubled teenagers, arranging psychiatric and psychological help by professionals. The organization also provides funding for medical opinions for the needy in cases of medical maltreatment. In addition the organization provides long term interest free loans in order to help families who have fallen into debt to stand on their own feet.
The organization provides constant and continuous help for the families in a way that allows them to rehabilitate themselves. These families are not provided for by any other organization and frequently the help provided is critical and urgent.
The organization works in conjunction with the welfare dept. of the Bet Shemesh municipality and with the local Rabbis.
Over the course of the years hundreds of families have been helped by the organization, and tens of them owe to the organization the fact that they are still complete families.
