Psifas is based on the concept of “meaningful donations”. We help people with the greatest potential to make significant changes in their lives. As the saying goes, “If you give a man a fish he will eat for a day, if you teach him to fish he'll eat

It is also extremely important to us that our donors feel comfortable and secure by giving to us. By using long-term micro donations Psifas was created with the hopes of restoring people’s involvement in their charitable contributions. This micro-structure helps to make donations more affordable and manageable, while also making tzadakah a reoccurrence in people’s consciousness and lives. All of Psifas’s board members are volunteers and all marketing, outreach and soliciting is handled by volunteers in order to eliminate costs and increase donor confidence that their donations are going directly to those in need. Monthly newsletters are also sent to all donors to increase their involvement and Psifas’s accountability.
