Village Way Educational Initiatives (VWEI) was established in 2006 . to provide innovative and timely educational solutions for Israel’s youth-at-risk. VWEI is based on expanding the scope and impact of the successful educational philosophy and novel programs developed over the course of 30 years by the outstanding, creative educational staff under the leadership of visionary educator Dr. Chaim Peri at Yemin Orde Youth Village. It has created a unique educational methodology called the Village Way, a blueprint for educators based on decades of proven success at Yemin Orde Youth Village. Inspired by the African proverb, "It takes a village to raise a child," the Village Way is rooted in providing each youth with a feeling of "wholeness" and instilling them with self-esteem, a sense of purpose, and the tools to build a brighter future. VWEI is one of the leading eduactional organizations in Israel
