Association of Advisors for Women's Status for Local Authority Heads in Israel

A. To organize and unite the advisors for women's status from all local authorities in Israel. B. The organization is the authorized representative of the advisor for women's status in local authorities in relation to the Histadrut institutions, the Center for Local Government, the Ministry of the Interior, and any other body relating to the status of the advisor for promoting women's status, her training, advancement, and protection of her rights. C. To advance the professional knowledge of the organization's members through exchange of information accumulated in Israel and abroad, including publishing and translating written materials related to women's status in local authorities. D. To develop techniques and research, and to assist in carrying out any program that will advance the issue of women's status in local authorities. E. To hold study days, conferences, and training courses to increase professional knowledge. F. To initiate and hold social meetings and cultural activities of the organization's members in order to bring together and strengthen relationships among its members. G. To provide assistance, mentoring, and consulting to new members in matters of the organization. H. To cooperate with international and other professional organizations and professionals, to ensure appropriate and suitable representation for the organization and/or its members, to initiate and hold lectures by professionals in the field from abroad as well as international conferences and meetings in Israel. I. To cooperate with all bodies engaged in the field of women's status, cooperation with those responsible in the public sector, the IDF, police, and academic institutions. J. To ensure appropriate representation for the organization in actions, bodies, and state and public committees whose subject and essence are women's status in local authorities and in general. K. For the avoidance of doubt, it is hereby explicitly stated that the organization is not a labor union, and therefore is not intended to deal with working conditions and/or wages and/or conditions related to wages of its members, except in exceptional cases. L. To work to advance the status and rights of advisors. M. To promote the status of women from all sectors and all faiths and for this purpose to initiate and develop various activities
