About 12 years ago in the beggining of early establishments of the neigborhood in the Har Homa, Jerusalem, many religious and traditional neighborhoods came to the new area. The new neighborhood had lack of religious religious identity and jewish elements, such as synagogues, Torah lessons, study halls, etc. And since then , it all started we decided to build a establisha praying place, like a small synagogue. As there were any available option, we "establish" beit knesset is a small room for storing the bycling. After then, we moved "Sinagogue" in the parking without windows at all. Like this we raise up the synagogue "Kerem Shlomo". They prayers wanted to approach more to the God, to serve and be devoted to Him. Later on, we established an association that would take care of this and be able to conduct itself in front of the municipality,. called "Mitzpeh Rachel". It was called in the name of the place we prayed, which has the view to grave of Rachel Amino in Bethlehem. After a few months, the prayers established an association, whose goal is to take care of the spiritual situation in the area while establishing a synagogue built in the area designated for this purpose.
