YISHAI ORGANIZATION FOR THE ESTBALISHMENT OF SYNAGOGUES ON THE TEMPLE MOUNT

The Yishai Organization for the Establishement of Synagogues on the Temple Mount was founded in 2013 with the ecouragement of many of Israel's leading rabbis. Clearly, the most important structure which needs to be built on the Temple Mount is the Third Temple. We pray that this will become possible in the not too distant future. However, the building of the Temple will require first the reestablishment of the Sanhedrin and the clarification of numerous issues. Building of synagogues on the Temple Mount outside the site of the Temple itself does require the Sanhedrin or the clarification of the the issures surrounding the Temple. It is also not a precedent. There were synagogues on the Temple Mount during the time of the Temple and also thereafter. One of the founders of our organization if Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, the Chief Rabbi of Zefat and a member of Israel's Chief Rabbinate.
