Imagine Empowerment In Music

IMAGINE (NGO) is a world leader and advisor to the UN on empowerment through music. Its decade-long experience, using music for enhancing wellbeing and resilience with various populations has reached over 12000 participants nationwide ?Who we are IMAGINE was founded in 2014 out of a belief in the power of music to change people and therefore change the world. IMAGINE promotes innovation and inclusion in musical education and is a leading and innovative body of knowledge in Israel and the world, winner of international education awards and an advisory status to the UN on inclusion and empowerment through music. ?what do we do 1. IMAGINE creates and develops ways to empower each and every one through music, offering inspiring experiences through innovative pedagogies. These pedagogies were developed with the Ministry of Education. Also, the pedagogies won international education awards. 2. IMAGINE operates annual musical programs in a variety of formal and informal educational settings, senior housing systems and hospitals. During its years of activity, it has bettered the lives of over 12,000 participants nationwide of all ages and at all levels of functioning. Since 7/10, IMAGINE has been working with the evacuee populations promoting wellbeing and resilience in these challenging times. We are doing large-scale projects both in the southern and northern communities. 3. IMAGINE is a partner in the 'Echo-music for all' project . Echo promotes a more diverse and inclusive society through inclusive musical ensembles for children and teenagers with and without special needs. The participants study, play and perform together. 4. As an international leading body of knowledge ,IMAGINE shares its unique knowledge and experience with professionals, teaching staff, therapists and families through trainings and lectures in Israel and around the world. Since 7/10 we have been developing kits and trainings for educators in the evacuee communities in order to transfer the knowledge to the field and introduce the music to every lesson and activity.
