The Refuit Medical Association was established with the goal of providing assistance in medical field The services we provide: Medical equipment loan center- The center lends out a variety of different types of medical equipment ranging from “standard" crutches and wheelchairs suitable for every age and every medical condition, to accessories for men and women with rare motor and/or medical problems. Brit Mila- We perform Brit Mila throughout the year all over Israel and in Eastern Europe. We perform Brit Mila for adults who for various reasons didn't have one at the age of 8 days old. This is saving and giving spiritual life to these Jews. Defibrillators- We distribute defibrillator equipment in synagogues and other locations throughout Mate Yehuda and Gush Etzion and train community volunteers in their use. Medication distribution for those in need- people come at all hours of the day and night in urgent and/or emergency cases to request medications, especially on Shabbos and holidays, when no pharmacy is open. Ambulette to transport patients- We have purchased an ambulette to transport patients in the area to and from dialysis and other life-saving treatments at medical centers in Jerusalem and in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. Refuit-Cal store- We have opened a store of medical equipment and aids at the cheapest prices in the country, which are also suitable for the poor living in the area. Emergency Campaign- We are raising donations to support the residents of Gush Etzion with emergency protective and medical equipment. In the nearest future: Dialysis institute- The Fulfillment of a Dream- For years, dialysis treatment patients in our region have longed for the establishment of a dialysis treatment center close to home. Let’s fulfill this dream as a team.
