To provide food and care for students and families among immigrants in general, and among immigrants from South America in particular, coming to study at the association's centers. To initiate and conduct activities in the fields of Israeli culture, Jewish identity, research of Jewish heritage and ethnic groups. To assist the community in matters of education and welfare, organize activities in the field of education and enrichment of Jewish knowledge. To award scholarships to students. To establish a library and publish books and recordings. To operate centers for studying the Talmud and Judaism, grant scholarships to students and provide economic assistance to those in need in the various centers and communities
