Yozim Bapardes supports individuals who have left the Haredi community in Pardes Hanna and the surrounding areas, providing them with a supportive community, personal growth opportunities, and assistance in transitioning and integrating into Israeli society. The organization focuses on three main areas of activity: 1. Strengthening the sense of belonging and community Many former Haredim experience loneliness and alienation after leaving their community. We strive to create a supportive network that serves as a social and emotional anchor. Main activities: - Social gatherings and community events – interactive meetups that foster friendships and connections. - Shared Shabbat and holiday meals – creating a warm and inclusive space for those who seek a sense of belonging. - Special holiday celebrations – ensuring that holidays are a time of connection rather than isolation. 2. Personal development and practical support We help former Haredim realize their potential and integrate successfully into society. Main activities: - Individual emotional support – professional guidance to navigate identity struggles, family estrangement, and emotional challenges. - Professional and enrichment workshops – development of academic, financial, and employment skills. - Employment assistance – job placement, résumé writing, and career counseling. - Educational support for children of former Haredim – tutoring, extracurricular activities, and academic preparation. 3. Social and cultural integration Many former Haredim face cultural gaps that make integration challenging. We provide tools to help them navigate Israeli society. Main activities: - Exposure to Israeli culture – visits to museums, theater performances, and cultural events. - Community connections – fostering relationships between former Haredim and the broader Israeli society. - Encouraging military service and volunteering – creating a sense of purpose and belonging through national service and community involvement. Why is this important? Former Haredim face unique challenges, including loneliness, educational gaps, employment difficulties, and emotional struggles. Yozim Bapardes provides the support and resources necessary for them to integrate successfully and build meaningful, fulfilling lives.
