Up until the establishment of the Garin (religious outreach community), which we intended for the purpose of developing the community, there were no public-religious educational institutions—only secular ones, which were integrated with 30%-50% Arabs, ranging from daycare age all the way to high school. This fact has led, unfortunately, to an alarming rate of intermarriages.
We are currently focusing on a number of projects:
Establishing a public-religious education system:
We currently operate 2 daycare centers for children aged 0-3 years old
We have established 3 kindergartens for children aged 3, 4 and 5
We have recently inaugurated a new school!
Offering lectures on Judaism and Zionism in mixed schools to 1,200 students each week
Establishing a “Warm Home” for young girls to prevent intermarriage
Running Bnei Akiva youth movement activities
Operating a “Jewish Home” for studying Judaism with secular students
Guiding tours focused on Jewish themes to 10,000 people during the past year
