Center for Heritage of Salonika and Greece Jewry, Leon Recanati Memorial (1890-1945)

To locate, assist, and help Holocaust survivors from Greece and the Balkans. To commemorate the memory of Balkan Jews who perished in the Holocaust. To serve as an experiential study center for visitors, families of Balkan-origin immigrants, and students of the education system. To serve as a center for research and commemoration activities of the heritage of Salonican and Greek Jews and Balkan countries. To work to preserve sites for commemorating Greek Jews. To work to preserve the Ladino language
