The activities of the Nova Tribe Community NGO are diverse, aiming to support all those impacted by the October 7th attacks at the parties near Gaza, especially the Nova Party.
The broad and varied community that attended these events spans the entire country. The activities held nationwide are designed to reach as many people as possible, touching various audiences and regions.
Every request or question from survivors and bereaved families is treated by the NGO as a call to action.
### Current Rehabilitation and Recovery Initiatives:
- **Sports Department**: Organizes a competitive soccer team, competitive basketball team, amateur footvolley team, and amateur table tennis team.
- **Mentoring Program**: Trains survivors to return to life post-trauma and to assist others. After completing four cycles of training 20 participants per cycle, the fifth cycle will launch in December 2024, with plans for expansion.
- **Community Days**: Held three times a month, these are a natural continuation of the healing spaces established by the Nova Festival organizers in October 2023, who also founded the NGO.
- **Therapeutic Activities**: Includes writing programs, horseback riding, surfing, jewelry-making courses, and retreats for hundreds of participants held periodically.
### Memorialization:
The NGO has organized a three-digit number of memorial events in collaboration with families or friends of the victims.
### Awareness Campaigns:
Since December 2023, the "6:29" exhibit has been raising global awareness. After its launch in Israel, it has been showcased in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Miami, and Philadelphia, with plans to continue through mid-2025.
