The organization acts as the local branch of the Histadrut in accordance with the Histadrut constitution and bylaws, and its objectives are the same as those of the Histadrut as detailed in chapter A of the Histadrut constitution, primarily: to unite and organize all workers living by the sweat of their brow without exploiting the work of others for the purpose of arranging social, economic, cultural and organizational matters of the working class in the country for the purpose of building a creative labor society in the State of Israel
