The association operates as a local branch of the Histadrut in accordance with the Histadrut constitution and bylaws, and its aims are those of the Histadrut as detailed in Chapter A of the Histadrut constitution, primarily: to unite and organize all workers living by their own labor without exploiting others' work, in order to arrange the social, economic, cultural and organizational affairs of the working class in Israel to build a productive labor society in the State of Israel
